Depicts dogs - bitch and pups. The mother dog looks like a mastiff-type dog, possibly an English Mastiff.
Oil on canvas. Gilt frame.
Size of frame: 13.5 x 10.25 inches;
Size of canvas: 9.5 x 6.5 inches;
Size of front portrait aperture: 9.25 x 6 inches.
Weight: 748g (allow 3 kg volumetric weight once packed).
Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and some superficial damage to frame ie some knocks to and pieces missing, but all part of its charm and character.
This antique painting has some woodworm holes but these have been treated to eradicate.
Priced accordingly.
