Oil on panel. Gilt gesso frame.
Size of frame: 18 x 15.5 inches;
Size of panel: 13.25 x 10.5 inches;
Size of front portrait aperture: 12.25 x 9.75 inches.
Weight: 1.2 kg (allow 5 kg volumetric weight once packed).
Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, grain of wood is showing on panel and some knocks to and pieces missing from gesso frame but all part of its charm and character.
The antique wood of this item has had a minor woodworm infestation at some point in its long life. However, this has now been specially treated to eradicate.
Priced accordingly.
