Antique French black wooden oblong clock dome base or jewellery display stand plateau.
French, circa 1890.
This base would have originally had a glass dome (due to the groove around the edge).
Size: base: 19.5 x 7.5 inches;
Would fit a glass dome (ie middle of groove to middle of groove): 18 x 7 inches
Weight: 1.19 kg (allow 3 kg volumetric weight once packed).
Condition commensurate with age - various marks & scratches, knocks & chips but all part of its charm and character.
This antique painting has some woodworm holes but these have been treated to eradicate.
Priced accordingly.
