Actual painting is unsigned but there is provenance on reverse and a label with artist's name: "JB Crome (1794-1842)".
Oil on panel. Elaborate gilt gesso frame.
Size of frame: 13 x 11 inches;
Size of panel: 9.5 x 7.5 inches;
Size of front painting aperture: 9.25 x 7.25 inches.
Weight: 763g (allow 3 kg volumetric weight once packed).
Reasonable condition for its age - various superficial marks & scratches and some knocks to and pieces missing from gesso frame but all part of its charm and character.
