Unsure of composition of fabric - it is silky/satiny in texture.
Brown shift dress with contrasting fabric collar with ribbon tie, diamond decoration and cuff inserts. Lapel collar, side pleats with braid decoration, pintuck detail at shoulders, button decoration and press studs at cuff with button detail - a really unique handmade dress.

Shoulder to shoulder: 18 inches; armhole width: 3.5 inches;
Waist: 48 inches;
Length: 48.5 inches.
Weight: allow up to 1 kg once packed.
Condition commensurate with age and use - some areas of bobbling and wear and some hand mends/darns with small hole on one mend at shoulder but easily fixed with a stitch and all part of its charm and character.
The fabric is quite delicate so it may be more suitable for a display item or costume rather than to be worn.
