Oil on canvas. Gilt gesso frame.
Size of frame: 18 x 15.25 inches;
Size of canvas: 13.75 x 11.25 inches;
Size of front portrait aperture: 13,25 x 10.75 inches.
Weight: 1.6 kg (allow 5 kg volumetric weight once packed).
Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, craquelure, some foxing in her face area and some knocks to and pieces missing from gesso frame but all part of its charm and character.
The antique wood of this item has had a minor woodworm infestation at some point in its long life. However, this has now been specially treated to eradicate.
