Label on reverse with an attribution to Retford Rex but it's not clear if it relates to the artist or not.
Oil on canvas. Elaborate gilt gesso frame.
Size of frame: 22 x 18 inches;
Size of canvas: 14 x 10 inches;
Size of front painting aperture: 13.5 x 9.5 inches.
Weight: 3.2 kg (allow 7 kg volumetric weight once packed).
Reasonable condition for its age - various superficial damage to frame, ie some knocks to and pieces missing, but all part of its charm and character.
