Antique 17th Century wooden oak hand carved panel of Moses and serpent.
English, 17th Century, circa 1750-1800.
Possibly originally from a piece of furniture. Now has a hook to hang.
Biblical theme: In Exodus 4:2–5, God told Moses to throw his staff onto the ground, and it became a serpent. When Moses picked it up by the tail, it became a staff again.
Size: 19.75 x 13 inches.

Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and a few minor splits in the oak but overall fine and all part of its charm and character.
