Unsigned, but attributed to Petrus Van Schendel, 1806-1870.
Oil on canvas. Ornate gilt gesso frame.
Size of frame: 33 x 29 inches.
Size of canvas: 26 x 22 inches.
Weight: 4.75 kg (allow 10 kg volumetric weight once packed).
Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and one small area of damage to canvas, with a small repair on the reverse but overall fine and all part of its character.
The auction record for a painting by Petrus Van Schendel is £370,000 (approximately US$ 490,599).

This item is obviously delicate and the gesso frame fragile. Therefore, whilst every care will be taken to pack this item extremely well, I cannot guarantee that some pieces of plaster will not become fragmented and dislodged.
