Depicts a shepherd by stile wearing shepherds cloak, stovepipe hat, red breeches and waistcoat.
Oil on canvas, remounted onto new canvas backing. Gilt gesso frame.
Size of frame: 15 x 13 inches;
Size of canvas: 10 x 8 inches;
Size of front portrait aperture: 10 x 8 inches.
Weight: 1.3 kg (allow 3 kg volumetric weight once packed).
Reasonable condition for its age - various superficial marks & scratches, craquelure and some superficial marks to frame but all part of its charm and character.
