Oil on canvas. Gilt gesso pierced frame.
Size of frame: 28.5 x 11 inches;
Size of canvas: 24.25 x 6.75 inches;
Size of front painting aperture: 23.5 x 6 inches.
Weight: 1.2 kg (allow 6 kg volumetric weight once packed).
Reasonable condition for its age - some damage to gesso frame ie some knocks to and pieces missing but all part of its charm and character.
This antique painting has some woodworm holes but these have been treated to eradicate.
Priced accordingly.
This frame is extremely delicate and vulnerable to damage in transit, even with good packing.
On this occasion, therefore, the painting is offered for sale alone and the frame does not form part of the price.
