Signed with artist's monogram CP and name of artist on gold mount.
Oil on panel. Elaborate gilt gesso frame.
Depicts a jovial gent in brown smock and blue work apron - possibly a craftsman of some sort.
Size of frame: 15.5 x 14 inches;
Size of panel: 8.5 x 7 inches;
Size of front portrait aperture: 7.5 x 6.25 inches.
Weight: 1.7 kg (allow 5 kg volumetric weight once packed).
Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and some minor knocks and cracks to the frame and a small piece of gesso missing but all part of its charm and character.
