Antique Georgian oil painting portrait study of senior lady in lace bonnet. English School, circa 1800-20. Unsigned, artist unknown. Oil on canvas. Wooden (burr walnut) veneer frame. Depicts a a senior lady in lace bonnet and red dress. Size of frame: 14 x 12 inches; Size of canvas: 10 x 8 inches; Size of front portrait aperture: 9.5 x 7.5 inches. Weight: 600g (allow 3 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, craquelure, some surface damage and some knocks and chips to wooden frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
