Antique French WW1 brass worked Trench Art vase from river Escaut dated 1918.

French, First World War, dated 1918.

"The Escaut is a river in Western Europe. In English it’s usually called the Scheldt River.

Source: Northern France, near Gouy. Flows through: Belgium and the Netherlands.

Mouth: Empties into the North Sea".

Made by a French soldier during world war one from a shell case.

Size:

Height: 13.75 inches;

Diameter: 3.5 inches.

Weight: 1.2 kg (allow 3 kg volumetric weight once packed).

Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches but all part of its charm and character.
