Unsigned but came from the studio of Peter Wardle.
A bit about Peter Wardle:
"Wardle studied at Leicester School of Art and the Ruskin School of Art, Oxford. He began his career as a professional portrait painter and sculptor in the 1970s and has work in a number of institutions including the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford and the National Portrait Gallery." (National Portrait Gallery).
Size of frame: 22 x 19 inches.
Size of painting: 18 x 15 inches.
Weight: 2 kg (allow 5.5 kg volumetric weight once packed).
Good condition for its age.
This is a genuine vintage original work of art which I have had remounted in a period frame. I do not sell reproductions or fakes.
Just for the sake of clarity, please note that this painting is not glazed (which is probably just as well as it would make posting more hazardous and costly).
