Antique Mauchline Ware wooden needle box treen from the Athole Plantations Dunkeld Scotland.

English, circa 1880-1900.

Mauchline ware were made by the Smith family in Ayrshire, Scotland, who made treen antiques for affluent Victorians who brought souvenirs of places visited.

Green velvet interior with pincushion lid.

Size: 4.25 x 2.75 x 2 inches.

Weight: 50g (allow 250g once packed.

Reasonable condition for its age – superficial marks & scratches and some wear to base but overall fine and all part of its charm and character.
