Antique French shepherds brass portable stove.

French, circa 1900.

Made by Stoker, France (maker's stamps on top).

Travelling stove which burns charcoal, of the type used by shepherds in the open field when minding the sheep.

Used for cooking and keeping warm in hut – naive, primitive piece.

Size: 7.25 x 5.5 x 2.25 inches.

Weight: 400g (allow 750g once packed).

Condition commensurate with age and use – various superficial marks & scratches and some corrosion to base but all all part of its charm and character.

Priced accordingly.

Ideal authentic camping stove or decorative item (if not to be used).
