See label for provenance on reverse: "Diuris Punctata, Blue Dotted Duirus, Native of New South Wales".

"Diuris punctata, commonly known as the purple donkey orchid is a species of orchid which is endemic to south-eastern continental Australia. It has two grass-like leaves and up to ten purple or mauve flowers, often with darker, sometimes yellow marks … (Wikipedia).

Size of frame: 14.5 x 10 inches.

Size of painting: 13.75 x 9.25 inches.

Weight: 350g (allow 2.5 kg volumetric weight once packed).

Condition commensurate with age – some superficial marks and scratches and some knocks to frame but all part of its charm and character.
