Antique 19th Century large brass dairy cream skimmer or spoon.

English, circa 1860-1880.

Used for separating cream from milk in the preparation of butter.

An ornate item, from a wealthy establishment.

Nice wall display item; assuming you don’t make your own cream or butter.

Size: Length: 23 inches; size of ladle head: 10.5 x 7.75 inches.

Weight: 750g (allow 3.5 kg volumetric weight once packed).

Reasonable condition for its age – superficial marks & scratches but overall fine.
